Our world seems to be unraveling. While we know God is in control, His ways are mysterious and counterintuitive. We simply don’t understand His methods. And that shouldn’t really surprise us. He has told us, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways” (Isaiah 55:8).
The unpredictability of God does not need to be threatening or fear-inducing, however… It’s actually good news! God’s surprising nature is a reminder that His wisdom is eternal and His purposes are perfect.
