A. Michael Shumate has been a career designer / illustrator for over 45 years, having taught graphic design at university before getting his BFA degree in graphic design. Michael is now Professor Emeritus from St. Lawrence College (Kingston, Ontario) where he taught for 25 years. He is a public speaker and pragmatic design evangelist on the Core Principles of Branding Design.
