Dawn Mann Sanders

Dawn Mann Sanders is an American author, Bible teacher, and associate minister known for her powerful insights on overcoming adversity and rebuilding life after loss. Her debut book, When Your World Ends (2024), explores the biblical process of starting over after catastrophic events. Sanders provides readers with a seven-step guide, inspired by Genesis' creation story, to help them find hope and create new beginnings.

Dawn Mann Sanders was born and raised in the United States. Her life's journey has been marked by significant personal trials, including divorce and the sudden death of her second husband, Reggie. These events have profoundly shaped her ministry and writing. After the end of her first marriage, she found healing and a renewed sense of purpose through faith. In the years that followed, she married Reggie. Together, they founded A Cord of Blue, a ministry that offers biblical guidance to couples transitioning from singleness to marriage.

But in a devastating turn of events, Reggie died unexpectedly after suffering a heart attack while jogging. Reflecting on this time, Sanders says: "Everything I thought I would ever need or be came to a screeching halt. Her world fell apart, but through her faith and deep study of the Bible, she found God's process for creating new life out of chaos. As a result of this journey of recovery, her first book and ministry were born.

Sanders earned a Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree from Bethel Seminary and currently serves as an associate pastor at First Baptist Church of Glenarden (FBCG), where she leads the preaching-based life group ministry. She is passionate about expository teaching and frequently shares her insights through Bible studies and weekly discussion guides for life groups at FBCG. Having experienced loss herself and her deep love for the Word have made her a sought-after speaker and teacher.

In When Your World Ends (2024), Sanders draws on Genesis 1 to uncover a divine blueprint for healing and transformation. With authenticity and courage, she shares the lessons she has learned from rebuilding her life twice and offers practical steps for those starting over. Her unique blend of personal storytelling and biblical teaching has resonated with readers seeking hope in the wake of loss.
