Isa Kujawski

Isa Kujawski, MPH, RDN, is a functional mind-body nutritionist with a rich background as a Navy veteran and extensive experience living in Seoul, South Korea. As the founder of Mea Nutrition, she is a prominent wellness expert and has been featured in several prestigious publications, including Mind Body Green, Shape, and Livestrong. Kujawski is recognized for her unique approach to holistic wellness and integrative nutrition, focusing on the connections between food, mental well-being, and physical health.

Isa Kujawski holds an MA in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Michigan School of Public Health and a certificate in Integrative Health Coaching from Duke Integrative Medicine. Her military service and personal experiences have deeply influenced her professional path, particularly following the tragic loss of her brother, a fellow veteran. Motivated by her experiences, she has dedicated her career to helping individuals, including veterans and former NFL players, manage chronic conditions through nutritional interventions.

In 2023, Kujawski authored The Book of Korean Self-Care, which explores various aspects of Korean culture that contribute to health and well-being, including sohwakhaeng (small but certain happiness), Kuok Sundo breathing techniques, and traditional Korean spa practices like seshin. It emphasizes the holistic integration of mind and spirit, nature, and dietary practices, showcasing how traditional Korean elements like kimchi, ginseng, ginger, and green tea can enhance digestive wellness and overall health.

Kujawski's work in this book is a testament to her belief in the power of cultural practices to promote health and wellness. She provides readers with practical guidance on incorporating these elements into their daily lives to improve their overall health and balance. Her approach is deeply rooted in her philosophy of using food as medicine, which she articulates with passion:

"Connecting nutrition with mental well-being, I aim to help people feel alive again and find true wealth through vibrant health. The inevitability of death looms over us all, but in the precious moments we're granted on this earth, let's seize the opportunity to truly feel alive."

Isa Kujawski lives in Los Angeles.
