Your girl. She couldn’t be further from being my girl than she is now. She felt closer to being my girl the other night, but now I’m not even back to square one. I’m not even on the board.

She’s taught me communicating doesn’t mean everything is perfect, it doesn’t mean we don’t disagree. It means we work through the imperfect bit together, and if we don’t agree, we at least know why the other feels that way, even if it’s not going to change our minds. We’re still individuals, but we’re individuals together

“I love you, Nathan.”

“Come back to bed,” he whines loud enough for other people to hear. “No funny business. Just cuddle with me.”

Rejection is scary, but so is living with never knowing what could have happened if you were honest. I think you need to communicate your feelings with him. Any relationship, friendship, or more, will not survive through all this dishonesty

He sinks to his knees in front of me, tugging at his bow tie and undoing the top button of his shirt.

I bite my tongue because, fuck, I want to kiss her so bad right now. Her hands have moved to her hips, and she’s so fucking hot when she’s mad at me.

“Hey, funny guy,” I bite back. “Did you know your girl has seven older brothers?”

His face pales. “Please tell me you’re joking.”

“Oh, I wouldn’t joke about something as funny as this.”
