Even though Saundra's Mother forced her children to attend Church, she struggled believing in God. She is a rebellious teenager, foolish enough to believe that her cunning ways will sucker her parents. Carousing with friends, lying, smoking drugs, sleeping around and drinking alcohol will soon bring a day of devastation. If Saundra ever thought that anything her parents asked her to do was hard, she will soon discover that life can and will hit harder. She finally determines who the real enemy is and everything she was looking for has always been in front of her. Saundra L. Words discovered the gift of writing in the sixth grade after a teacher praised her over a reading assignment. Saundra tested herself to writing poetry and did so for many years. In 1989 she challenged herself to bringing characters to life and wrote and co-directed her first stage play in 1989 at the Black Box Theatre. Saundra is still writing plays. “He Waited For Me” is her greatest accomplishment to date.
