The Female of the Species

An excelent book. Deals with very important topics like slut shaming and rape culture in a very real way. I definitely reccomend this book.

This was... A lot. Like a lot lot. But I think is one that is very important. I would have like to resolve some things (particularly with jack and branley) but I get that not everyone gets a happy ending and people are not perfect. Remaind yourself that it's never your fault, that bad people deserve it bad and that if you allow the jokes and the molestation who everyone seems to think are insignificant but later become assaults and other monstrous things, you are contributing to rape culture.
So f them. Really hard. Better to be with no friends than to be friends with rapists. Better rapists to have bruises and their skin thorne apart than having girls abused.

Hearbreaking. Can one be on the side of the murderer? How f*#k up it's our society and this rape culture that we live in... And most of the people don't Even realise.
