Well, as you can see, I’ve been managing complex housing renovation schemes for the last six years, up to £40 million budgets across Northern England and Scotland. I love what I do and have been lucky enough to win awards for our last two projects. The area I enjoy most is building sustainable housing and I am interested in this role because this is the focus of your organisation and I want to talk about how my experience can contribute to this.’

Whatever the context, it usually boils down to how they can make more money, or get more funding, if you are on their payroll.

Employers ultimately care about their problems and how you can fix them.
