The relatively modern custom

Another example: If an unmarried woman wishes to find out who her future husband will be, she should take some raw onions, and upon each one carve or write a different man’s name or initials. To divine using ceromancy, you will need a red candle, a shallow dish filled with water, a little bit of imagination, and an enormous amount of patience!
