This work offers a summary of the book “RICH DAD'S GUIDE TO INVESTING: What The Rich Invest In That The Poor And Middle Class Do Not!” by Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter.

Rich Dad's Guide To Investing shows that the rich focus on positioning themselves advantageously as one of three general types of investors: the sophisticated investors, the inside investors and the ultimate investors.

So what specifically do the rich invest in that the poor and middle class do not? The rich invest in three specific areas: Education (the rich concentrate on gaining the mindset of the sophisticated investor), Experience (the rich learn how to build strong businesses which run without their handson involvement), and Excessive Cash (the rich have multiple sources of income – to meet their expenses and provide surplus cash for investing).

Robert Kiyosaki believes that changing your view on investing makes it possible for anyone to become rich. He adds: “Rich Dad's Guide To Investing is a longterm guide for anyone wanting to become a rich investor and invest in what the rich invest in. As the title states, it is a “guide” and offers no guarantees… just as my rich dad offered me no guarantees… only guidance.”
