Emanuel Swedenborg presents a comprehensive theology that explores the nature of God and God’s relationship with creation. Originally published in neo-Latin in 1771, this foundational text delves into questions about divine love and wisdom, and how they manifest in both the spiritual and physical worlds. The audiobook, expertly narrated by Rachel Campbell in a contemplative yet friendly voice, makes these deep spiritual insights accessible to contemporary listeners.

Beginning with an examination of God as Creator, the text builds a philosophical and theological framework that illuminates the purpose behind creation and humanity’s role within it. Swedenborg explains how divine love and wisdom flow through multiple levels of reality, from the highest heavens to the natural world, shaping everything from human consciousness to the laws of nature.

This first volume contains detailed discussions of God’s essential nature, the Trinity, Sacred Scripture, faith, and the Ten Commandments. The clear narration guides listeners through complex theological concepts while preserving the contemplative and revelatory nature of the original work.
