Yankee Africanus, Keeper of the Evercoin: The Boy Who Listened to Roots

A Story of Sovereignal Currencying and the Art of Listening

What if value isn’t something you own… but something you carry?

In a world that moves too fast to listen, one boy walks differently.

Yankee Africanus has always sensed that something beneath the surface is speaking—through the ground, through the wind, through the quiet spaces most people have forgotten how to hear. While others rush forward, he pauses. While others seek to take, he learns to listen.

And one day, the world answers.

Drawn deep into a forest that feels more aware than still, Yankee discovers something hidden beneath the roots of an ancient tree—a coin unlike any other. It does not shine. It does not call for attention. Yet the moment he touches it, everything changes.

The Evercoin does not grant power.

It reveals something far greater.

As Yankee begins to understand what he has been entrusted with, he must learn a truth the world rarely teaches: that not all value can be held, not all things are meant to be owned, and some of the most powerful forces can only be carried through care, responsibility, and alignment.

This is the beginning of his journey as the Keeper of the Evercoin.

A journey not of possession—but of currencying.

Blending poetic storytelling with profound philosophical insight, Yankee Africanus, Keeper of the Evercoin introduces a new way of seeing the world—where listening is a form of wisdom, stewardship replaces ownership, and value lives not in what we take, but in how we choose to be.

Perfect for readers who love meaningful children’s literature with depth, imagination, and heart, this story invites both young and grown minds into a quiet, powerful question:

What are you truly carrying?

And what, in this world, is meant to be lived… rather than owned?
