Epaphus sprang Libya, and from Libya, Belus; and from Belus, Aegyptus and Danaus.

AESCHYLUS wrote altogether over seventy plays, of which seven have survived; and of these the Oresteian Trilogy probably came last, being produced within two years of the poet’s death.

Tis mine then to bring succour, and to save
