There are no words that could describe how strong impact had this book had on me. I could share a thousand though about it and yet my brain doesn't exist now after I've just finished reading. Not only is that amazing coming of age story. It shows many levels of life after what we call youth. Emotional. Nostalgic, yet breathtaking by its sensuality. Beautiful in its simplicity. Providing out-of-body experience and big journey into our hearts and souls. Magnificent and admirable. Words cannot describe its greatness. And despite the hideous amounts of tears reading that book cost me, I'd hardly recommend it to everyone. This book made me feel things I had know idea about, made me realize that the struggle with emotions is what everyone is dealing with at least once in a lifetime and that should we not close to our feelings, should we not shut them down because one day we might wake up in empty bed and realize that everything we love and care about belongs to the past and the time wasted could not be re-used.

El final te rompe el corazón 💔 y Oliver y Elio me encantaron 💖."// "I love it, it's a sea of emotions, I have a lot of mixed feelings." The beginning of the book is poetic and presents us with everything the necessary to get into the thinking of each character, it is true that from my point of view at the beginning I thought that It was very slow, but after having reached the second part everything starts to take shape and rhythm, I love the way André Aciman tells this story in a poetic, romantic way, and every phrase that appears in the book is beautiful remember each one of them.
The end breaks your heart 💔 and Oliver and Elio loved me 💖. //

This made cry. It seems like this masterpiece caught how forbidden love and the people involved go through. I hate losing someone not this way or any other way.

I don’t know why this story caught my attention since the first time a saw the movie trailer. (In fact I do) I couldn’t resist any longer and came here to read the book. Oh boy! What a beautiful journey, not at all fiction and sooo human, beautiful, romantic, innocent, touching, Funny, smart, sad. Just as life itself.

This book is simply incredible. It describes first love so elegantly, and beautifully. "He came he left. Nothing else had changed. I had not changed, the world hadn't changed. Yet nothing would be the same." It's so simple, and yet, it's the most complex and compelling book I have ever read. Simply incredible.

I've never been so sad to finish reading a book... I smiled, I cried and I laughed with the characters... But most importantly I loved with them... I lived with them somewhere in northern Italy...
