The book is devoted to one of the least studied problems of history of our country – the formation of constitutionalism in Russia. The reader will not only retrace the history of the Russian State in the light of the analysis of strengthening the autocracy and attempts to restrict it, but, may agree with the author that society failed to change the order and regimes of relations with the State positively for itself. It means that, unfortunately, so far Russia has been unable to leave the monarchist period of its history despite the fact that formally the autocracy does not exist in our country for many years.
The book is addressed to professors, post-graduates, and students as well as to everybody who is interested in legal and historical aspects of the development of statehood of our country.
