<!doctype html public «-//w3c//dtd html 4.0 transitional//en»> http-equiv=content-type content="text/html; charset=iso-8859–1"> This monograph examines the meaning and function of textuality and the aesthetic form of presentation in philosophy based on a close reading of selected passages from Nietzsche’s Twilight of the Idols. Drawing on philosophical and philological discussions, the study demonstrates the philosophical-cognitive valence of aesthetic forms of representation as well as the key role of self-referentiality in Nietzsche's philosophy.
