life is constantly testing our level of commitment. Life is always presenting challenges to us that we must overcome. The average leader gets to a place that feels comfortable and then sits down to rest for the long run. But the great leader understands that we are always going to face challenges that will stand as obstacles to our growth and the growth of our organizations.

It takes struggle, a goal and enthusiasm to make a champion.

I believe life is constantly testing us for our level of commitment, and life’s greatest rewards are reserved for those who demonstrate a never-ending commitment to act until they achieve. This level of resolve can move mountains, but it must be constant and consistent.

We will receive not what we idly wish for but what we justly earn. Our rewards will always be in exact proportion to our service.

If we don’t do the hard work, we don’t reap the harvest.

You get what you earn over time through hard work. You will get the respect you earn. You will get the loyalty you earn. You will get the reward you earn. Your choice on how hard you will work will determine how much you earn, whether in dollars or anything else.

If you overpromise you look like a person who can’t execute. So just promise what you are going to do. Then overdeliver. Once the promise is made to your followers, work beyond imagination to make sure that what you deliver is far beyond what anyone ever expected. In doing that you gain the reputation of being the go-to person and one who gives more than anyone asked for.

Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant.

Work hard and work smart. I have heard people say, “Work smart, not hard.” Well, I don’t think the two are mutually exclusive. In fact, you should do both. Yes, working smart is better than working hard. But working hard and smart is better than just working smart
