As if he’d be able to re-do their entire conversation from the very beginning. He’d tell him that he remembered every word they shared at the gala, and that everything he said was true. That he missed him so terribly sometimes that it physically hurt, and sometimes it felt like he’d never wanted to fall in love again, not unless it was going to be with him. He’d reassure him that he could never stay mad at James for that long anyways, and that he just needed time to process his feelings before talking with him.
