Between the kingdoms lies the Outside: a brutal, unforgiving place filled with death in every form.
Still, people live out here. Outcasts, exiles and misfits that just don’t belong anywhere else. The village of Loab has a problem: the last of their Joxhorn is gone. In three days, they will lose their power and with it, their lives.
The closest thing to a leader in the town calls a meeting of the most capable people who can get more and save them all. They agree to venture into the unknown and liberate some of the precious material. But fate has other plans for them.
